August 1: It’s August 1st. Tomatoes are ready for harvesting. The seeds which were sown in end of March are now grown into fully developed tomato plants. These are Brandywine tomatoes. They are indeterminate vining heirloom varieties. Each tomato weighs at least 1/2 lb. One of the best out there.
